But it is only right to ask the question, for not everybody on the internet is everything they at first appear to be.
So let us tell you a little about the company and how we operate.
Motolegends is the motorcycle division of a medium sized mail-order and internet retailer.
We first opened our doors in 1994. Today, with a turnover of £6 million, we employ some 35 staff from our offices and warehouse just outside Guildford.
We are what is known as a fully-integrated seller, by which we mean that we handle all the relevant functions in-house. We have a telephone room, specialist customer service people, a returns department, and a fully stocked warehouse.
We have in excess of 250,000 buying customers on our database and we send out mailings every four weeks; in fact, in a year we print more than two million catalogues.
One thing we are not is a ‘virtual’ business and so, of course, if at any time you want to come and visit us, say to inspect or pick up a purchase, you are welcome to do so. You’ll find our address below.
We try to do everything by the book.
Whether you buy by phone, by post, fax or via the internet, you will pay nothing until your goods have been despatched, although we may well ‘authorise’ your credit card as a security measure.
If the goods you have ordered are in-stock and on our shelves they will be despatched the same day, or the day after.
An operator will always tell you if an item in in-stock, but this is also made clear on the website.
If something you have ordered is not in our warehouse we will immediately order it from the relevant supplier. In such circumstances, we would expect to supply the goods within 14 days. If we have not done so within 21 days, we will email you, or contact you by phone with an expected supply date.
At no time are you obliged to honour your order. You can cancel at any time and when you receive your purchase you can still return them to us for a full refund of the purchase price or a replacement.
