Returns

Motolegends would like to make returning your item for a refund or exchange as easy as possible. Please follow the instructions below for your particular request.

For all types of returns simply complete the returns form which can be found on the back of your invoice and return it with the goods. If you no longer have your invoice you can download the form here - Online Returns Form This must be within 14 days of receipt of goods.

For goods returned from outside mainland UK and the Channel Islands the following must be written legibly on both the packaging and customs declaration. 'MAIL ORDER GOODS RETURNED FOR EXCHANGE - DO NOT CHARGE DUTY'. It is mandatory to contact our returns department before returning any goods to us.

Please make sure the item is returned protected during transit with outer packaging similar to that with which it was sent. All items being returned for exchange / refund must reach us in a re-saleable condition which includes their immediate outer packaging.

Please note: Videos, CDs, DVDs, tapes, electrical goods, computer software, earrings and underwear that have been opened cannot be returned unless faulty.

Free Returns on motorcycle protective wear

If the item is under £100 please return it to us by Royal Mail 2nd Class post. If the goods are too heavy for a 2nd Class service then a Standard Parcel service should be used. Please ensure that you request a 'Proof of Posting' from your Post Office which they will issue to you free of charge. Please retain this certificate until you have received your replacement item or refund. If you are unable to provide this certificate, we will be unable to process a replacement or refund if we do not receive the faulty item. We cannot be held responsible for returned goods until they reach us.

Upon receipt of the goods we will then credit your original payment method with the Royal Mail's 2nd Class/Standard Parcel tariff as applicable for your item/s. Please note we will not credit postage on items that are returned with additional insurance or those sent by special delivery/other courier services.

If the item is over £100 please call us on 0844 887 7788 and we'll advise the best method for getting your goods back to us free of charge.

Please note free returns are only applicable on orders delivered within the UK.

Unhappy with Purchase

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it to us for a replacement (where possible) or full refund of the purchase price, following the instructions above. All items must be returned in a saleable condition, in its original package. The item must be protected with outer packaging similar to that with which it was sent.

Exchange for Different Product / Size

If you are living outside of the United Kingdom and wish to exchange an item for an alternative product, please note that we make a charge for repacking and administrative costs which can be calculated using the table below. Please note that this charge is not applicable to exchanges being delivered within the United Kingdom.

Damaged Item

If your goods have arrived with a manufacturing defect, or are inherently faulty, please return the goods to us within 14 days of receipt where we will be happy to process an exchange (where possible) or refund.

Damaged in Transit

If you suspect that your goods have been damaged whilst in transit, we would ask you to report this within 3 days of receipt so that a claim may be made against our couriers. You can report this damage by calling our Customer Services department on 0844 887 7788 or e-mail us direct at returns@motolegends.com We would then ask that the goods be returned to us within 14 days of receipt where we will be happy to process an exchange (where possible) or refund.

Damaged box / cover

If you have a damaged box or plastic lid then please call us first on 0844 887 7788 or e-mail returns@motolegends.com We may be able to replace these without you having to send everything back.

Incorrect Item

If the item we have sent you is incorrect or different to that stated on your invoice, please return the item to us within 14 days where we will be happy to process an exchange (where possible) or refund.

Special Orders

Any goods that have been custom made or specially ordered are non-refundable.

Sale Purchases

Products purchased during our Sale periods are subject to our standard Returns policy.

Gift Items

If an item has been received as a gift we can only refund the original payer.

I have received a free gift item as part of a special offer or promotion

If you decide to return item(s) from your order for a refund that subsequently no longer qualifies you for the free gift item, you must include the free gift with the return, else Motolegends reserves the right to charge you the full RRP for the free gift item.

Processing Time

Returns may take up to 10 days to be processed after arriving with us, and refunds may take up to 14 days to clear. When your return has been processed for an exchange or replacement and the item is out of stock we will inform you by e-mail.
