CE standards

EN 1621-1/97 - CE standard for limb protectors
One standard of certification, no levels defined. Average transmitted force must be less than or equal to 35 kN.

EN1621-2/03 - CE standard for back protectors
2 Levels of protection classified - Level 1 and Level 2. To pass at Level 1 the average transmitted force must be less than or equal to 18 KN. To pass at Level 2 the average transmitted force must be less than or equal to 9 kN.

The lower kN score the better the shock absorption and protection.

• A. There are no dedicated trousers for this jacket. The jacket does not have a zip to connect a pair of trousers either.
