Historic

Motorcycling has a rich history from the trials of the first motorcycles at the end of the 1800’s to the First World War where motorbikes helped supply communications to the front line. After the Second World War motorcycle riding became a replacement for the loss of camaraderie, excitement and danger veterans had gotten used to. Now Japanese manufacturers dominate the scene and professional racers are watched by huge crowds. We have a great range of historical books and DVDs covering great racing moments as well as the rich motorcycling history.
