Halvarssons' Newman riding gloves are brilliant in the wet winter, but with the weather in the UK you'll get a lot of summer use as well! The Newman is a reworking and upgrading of Halvarssons' famous ‘Dry Level' glove. It's made from Taslan and goats nappa for softness, but there's also DRYWAY for water protection, OUTLAST for temperature control and KEPROTEC for impact protection. The best four season glove money can buy? We think so. Probably!Specification
- The glove has a Dryway membrane to give a waterproof and windproof barrier, whilst maintaining a high level of breathability
- There is also an Outlast lining to maintain a comfortable ride
- Outlast is a fabric that can regulate the bodies temperature regardless of the weather conditions
- There is a strong Keprotec panel on the palm of the gloves to provide reinforcement, whilst the cuffs are elasticated and adjustable.
- MC Fit technology - a patented technology based on the liner, membrane and outer shell being laminated together for a more flexible glove with a better feel on the bike. Maximum Comfort Fit technology ensures that the liner, membrane and outer material stay tightly bonded without becoming worn out or split

Used these gloves for year round commuting and they are ok down to 5 degrees for 20 motorway miles, more if stop/start slower riding. Absolutely waterproof and completedly comfortable. Yes the liner does pull through but hold the fingers and pull them off slowly. The fitting and removal on a trip to the Himalayas finaly tore the inners but they are still warm and waterproof just a bit fiddly. There are better gloves (Rukka) but for 120 quid I bought Halvarssons pants which are just as good as their gloves. Not for keeping your hands warm you fools.

this glove is not quite what the ad says not very warm seems waterproof but only thing is the lining will come out with your hand and is a pain to get back in to be comfy!!!!

I have been using these gloves for 4 weeks now in all weathers during my daily commute around the M25 and my hands have never been wet yet. Warm (up to a point) and allowing amazing feel for fine control operation, these gloves prove that bulk is not a prerequisite to warmth. I am interested in the rest of Halvarssons riding kit now.
