Product description
The Halvarssons Odyssey jacket represents the pinnacle of Halvarssons technical expertise. It's their top of the range jacket and it's brimming over with features. We're going to try and explain them all, so pour yourself a drink and put your feet up. The outer fabric of the Odyssey jacket is a new material from Schoeller call DYNATEC. Basically, this material has all the protective qualities of heavy duty Cordura but it's lighter, softer to the touch and more comfortable to wear. In the case of the Odyssey, the material is backed with a new membrane called 'C-CHANGE'. Like OUTLAST, the fabric opens its pores up in the heat and closes them in the cold to make the jacket windproof and waterproof. The surface of the fabric has then been treated with NANOSPHERE. This creates a texture that makes it virtually impossible for water to bond with it. Yet it can still breathe. Bottom line. Lightweight jacket. Durable fabric. Totally waterproof. Totally windproof. Not content with that, Halvarssons has added an OUTLAST thermal liner, HI-ART in the exposed areas, CE protectors in the shoulders and elbows, adjusters everywhere you look and multiple reflective panels.
