Kushitani is Japan’s most famous maker of motorcycle protective wear. It’s a company that has been making clothing for motorcyclists since the 1950s. It has to be said that the company is first and foremost a specialist in leather. Their jackets comes from Kushitani's own specially reared herd of Holstein cows. The leather is pre-stretched, and although it initially feels too fine to use on a motorcycle, the same leather is used on their highly regarded one-piece race suits. But Kushitani also produces textile jackets that are as stylish as their leather ones. But, as with all Kushitani jackets, the sizing doesn’t meet all the needs of the European market!
