The Halvarssons Rain Suit is constructed from Nylon and is designed to be worn over your motorcycle gear. You only tend to buy a rain suit when it's bucketing down. You dive into your nearest dealer and take whatever they've got, but all too often it turns out that your twenty pound acquisition leaks like a sieve and makes you look like an escapee from the local community service education centre. Well, somehow you know that Halvarssons is not going to put its name to a suit until they've tested it to destruction, and are convinced it's going to work. And surprise, surprise it does. Fantastically. The Halvarssons Rain Suit is practical and comfortable. The leg zippers go up above the knees to make getting in and out easier. To the same end, the front chest zip goes diagonally across the body almost to the knee. The waist is elasticated, the sleeves and legs adjust with VELCRO. There's a concealed mesh hood in the collar which you can wear under your helmet to keep your suit in place and prevent rain from going down the back of your neck. But even more importantly, it's got wide High Visibility strips on the sleeves, chest and back. This should be mandatory on a wet suit. After all, when the heavens open and all around are thunderous clouds, the last thing you want is to be invisible. So, get one now, and put it in your top-box or under the seat. Collected from the GPL warehouse yesterday. Used the suit in the rain and gales this morning over the top of my bike endurance style jacket and trousers. No leakage, and arived at work 30 mins later bone dry underneath. My existing trousers and jacket are size L. The rain suit is also size L, and fits comfortably over the top of them, as it is slighty oversized to do so, as per the description in the catalogue.
