The Halvarssons Silverstone one-piece suit is part of the on road leather range. We have to be honest. When one thinks about a one-piece leather racing suit, Halvarssons is not the first name that comes to mind. But that's because Halvarssons doesn't go around throwing money at riders. And if looking like a famous racer isn't really important to you, then Halvarssons is worth a look because, as you may know, this is a company that doesn't do things by halves. The Silverstone suit itself is cowhide but, crucially, this is reinforced in the most exposed areas with the company's HI-ART fabric for unmatchable levels of abrasion resistance. You also get all the bits and pieces you normally expect to find on a top Italian suit; things like CE protectors, stretch panels above the knees and in the back, titanium sliders, elasticated panels in the sleeves, legs and groin, a neck cushion, triple stitching and so on and so forth. Given that, from what we can see, this suit will do its primary job as well as any, there's only one point to make. It's terrific value. Of course, you can find cheaper if you're not bothered about protection and quality, but for this level of passive safety, we reckon you'd pay far more elsewhere. Sizes shown are EU.Specification
