Product Information

There are those who prefer their short biking boots to have a waterproof membrane, and there are those who don't. A membrane will, in principle, keep the rain out, but the rain can still come over the top of the boot. A boot without a membrane, however, will always be nicer to wear in the summer, because it will be more breathable. A boot like the Nashville that has a zip but no membrane will also be much easier to get in and out of, because there will be no restricting waterproof gusset behind the zip. The X-Nashville in brown is a handsomely spec'd, non-waterproof boot. It's made from leather that is between 1.2 and 1.4mm in thickness. The leather has been treated so it will still deliver a level of water repellency. The calfskin lining ensures that, at all times, this will be a comfortable boot to wear. Reinforcements in the heel, toe area and ankles mean that safety, as ever, is very much part of the brief. The replaceable, rugged sole has a leather welt, and the zip is by YKK. If you want t a short boot for the summer that's tough, comfortable, and easy to get in and out of, the X-Nashville should be on your shopping list. Also available in black.

Oliver Onel: Mr

Overall good boots. Although leather feels thin protection is in the right places. The leather is very soft and they are amazingly comfortable. Wore these 2 weeks solid in real hot weather (30C+) biking and walking around and seemed to perform as expected (obviously a bit hot when walking but they are boots!!!). The boots are extremely comfortable but I’d recommend wearing them around the house a bit before a proper walk outside. Sizing comes up big, I’d say order 1 size smaller than you think. Basically I measured my feet, when looked at the Spidi chart and ordered the boot, it was clearly a size too big. Best to try them tbh. I also wet weather tested them and they held up OK. I’d recommend these as a good compromise boot. The laces went bobbly after a week of use ( lovely oiled laces btw) but this is nothing major. Not crash tested them so can’t say anything about that.
