Barbour Steve Mcqueen Buffalo shirt indigo (BRB212)
Product InformationMcQueen was a big plaid shirt man; particularly after he dropped out of Hollywood life and moved to Santa Paula.
His shirts didnt come from some boutique on Rodeo Drive, but rather from the local general supply store, or JC Penny.
McQueen became quite thrifty in his later years. Not because he was running out of money, but most probably because he wanted to prove to himself that he was still a regular guy.
This shirt is as close as any we have seen to the one that Steve is shown wearing in many of his wifes photographs that appear in her book: The Last Mile.
Indeed, Steve is wearing just such a shirt on the front cover of the book.
The Barbour shirt is correct, right down to the twin, buttoned chest pockets.
