John Currah: Lightweight, Limited Protection
Nicely made boots, very flexible. When I first wore them, the flex point at the front of the ankles dug in quite painfully, but after a few wears, they are comfortable. I haven't tested how waterproof they are, but the membrane seems less breathable than Gore-Tex. The boots are sized small: I had to order a size bigger than I would normally do to avoid my toes touching the end of the boot. My only real negative would be that they have little or no ankle support and protection. I bought mine for summer touring on a sidecar outfit, so this doesn't bother me: I would be less happy wearing them on a solo bike.
