Harisson Corsair helmet in matt black Product Information

The Harisson Corsair helmet is an open face helmet that takes its inspiration from pilot's jet fighter helmets. The shell is made of a 3D composite comprising of carbon fibre, fibreglass and DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid fibres in vulnerable areas. Inside, the helmet is trimmed with lambskin and Alcantara for comfort and all parts are sewn in rather than glued. There are fine gauze covered air vents, a flip up visor and a detachable face mask which can be removed and buttoned onto the back with a press stud strap and a traditional DD chin strap.

Hi, can you tell me what measurement in cm the small size is? Thanks The small is a 55 to 56cm size.

Simon: Product Review

What size in cm are the L and XL? Do the goggles have anti-fogging? The size large is a 59/60cm, the size XL is 61/62cm. The goggles do not have anti-fogging.

Good helmet on first inspection. I like the finish and it appears to have been made with good materials. I did however wish to replace the current visor with the darker one which was supplied in the box. To say it was tedious was an understatement. I was concerned that any more ham fistedness would break the visor or any components inside the helmet. After a quick search on YouTube i happened to come across a quick and simple guide to remove the visor which was in Chinese subtitles but u get the idea and you also get some lovely calming music while u watch it too. Here is the link in case anyone else struggles:

SECOND REVIEW (AFTER RIDING): I have been able to take my KTM out for a run with my newly acquired Harisson helmet. Initially the face mask had loosened off and dropped down below my chin at 65 MPH. After stopping to tighten it, problem solved. However there is a significant degree of wind that gets past the gap between the visor and the mask which makes for quite an eye watery affair. Any high speeds over 70 mph forget it. I ended up going back and squeezing in a pair of safety specs to help deflect some of the wind from my eyes. I ended up cutting my run short as I didnt see it practical to go out on a long run with this. In summary, I feel this helmet would be more suited to scooter riding and very short runs here and there unless you wear a pair of glasses/shades underneath the visor. It is therefore questionable whether this helmet is good value for money. For me it looks better than the Shark or the roof any day but I should have gone Roof as they offer greater wind protection.

This Lid looks cool and that's about all its good for. When riding with the visor down and face mask off this give you an eye watering experience. I had to lift the visor up and ride open to the elements as i had no shade with me. the next time i went out i used the face mask it was a little bit better but after 30 mins on motorway my eyes began to tear up. The fitting of the face mask is very poor i think it would of been better to press stud it into place. As the tabs that slot inbetween the shell and the padding are not long enough and not fit for puropse. As i was on the motorway i went to do a life saver and the tabs came out this was fine when looking straight ahead as it pushed the mask against my face and gave me more vision but again when doing the lifesaver i had to hold it so it didn't flap about over my eyes. I will keep this helmet as it is comfortable and made form some lovey materials also it look cool. If you buy this helmet be prepared to just use it as an open faced helmet with shades and a buff. I do think with some improvements from Harisson this could be an iconic helmet of the future.

Awesome helmet, simply put. The quality is outstanding and uber comfortable to wear for a long period of time. A lot of reviews have mentioned about wind in the eyes. Yeah there is a slight gap between the visor fully down and the nose area of the mask, but this at the end of the day IS an open face helmet, and you cannot expect to fully eliminate wind exposure. Personally this 'issue' doesn't affect me but I guess it's worth mentioning!

Done! I found your video about corsair and already ordered in this moment from BCN so, I'll be waiting for my new helmet for vacacions, thanks buddy!!! ;)

Great fit, but is only a summer helmet and you need ear plugs as it suffers fron excessive wind noise

Johnny Olofsson: Superb Helmet

Bought the helmet most for its looks, but to my surprice, it's comfortable, light, and fits like a glove. Use it to ride my snowmobile and its one of the best lightweight helmets i have had. Many turn around and ask's me where i bought it, and want to try it on. Only negative thing with it would be that it has not an easy, fast buckle, but changed that and now it's more than perfect

Borre Hartviksen: Gr8 Helmet

Bought it for its coolness, but to my surprise its the best helmet i ever owned. Its light, comfy, and no "lift" when driving fast. Love it. The service at Motolegends are also superb. Had two small scrathes in the visor when i got it and they sent me a new prompte.
