Shark Evo-One 2 Skuld helmet in red XS Product Information

Shark is already the go to brand for a flip-lid helmet, and with the new Evo-One 2 they are certainly staying true to form as not only is it a full face but you can ride it in open-face position to. The Lithion duel black thermoplastic flip-up helmet boast two shell sizes, it's SHARP 4 star safety rated, and is of course ECE certified. Shark have equipped the Evo-One 2 with Max Vision anti fog pinlock visor, and you won't be overweight with the Evo-One 2 clocking up only 1.65Kg. Shark's "Autoseal" system flattens the visor onto the helmet, offers better soundproofing and seals the helmet (against water and cold). Compact aerodynamic profile plus a tremendous reduction in airborne noise thanks to CFD design (by simulating computational fluids)

Paul Adams: Unique and ticks all the boxes

I had to have a shark 'Evo' crash helmet when I saw a bloke with one on a Triumph RAT run some years ago. The "It's a full face, now it's an open face, now it's a full face again" design really appealed to me, unlike the usual flip tops, which are full face, then something in between only bulky and clumsy. I first bought an Evoline 3, followed by an Evo-One, principally because it was Pinlock ready and cured the misting up of the original. The first incarnation of the Evo-One was good, but, as mentioned in the article written by the Motolegends team, had a few niggles, the most annoying being that the pinlock visor became scratched after about 5 seconds, since the visor auto-lifting-up action when the chin bar is raised was inherently flawed. The Motolegends article stated that the Evo-One 2 version is better and the niggles of 'V1' had been cured, so I went ahead and checked out and then bought an Evo-One 2. Thus far - perfect and, yes, a better version of the Evo-One. I'd like to blow the trumpet for Motolegends - the only site where each item they sell has some (or a lot) of descriptive text and also for the additional 'review' articles on a number of items. This kind of info is distinctively lacking elsewhere. As ever, great customer service when ordering online and nice coffee served at the shop near Guildford too...
