Klim Marrakesh jacket in grey Product Information

This might just be the ultimate, lightweight, summer jacket. In concept, it is similar to the Rukka Forsair, but it betters it in a number of areas. The outer fabric of the Marrakesh is a 1000 denier woven Cordura. The fact that it does not have a waterproof membrane means that it will flow large volumes of air although, in the margin, we would have to suggest that the knitted Cordura of the Forsair will flow more. But made of stronger material, we would expect the Klim jacket to be more abrasion resistant and, with its four-way stretch, probably more comfortable to wear too. Unlike the Forsair, the Marrakesh does have a get-you-home, waterproof coating. Armour is by D3O and comes fitted in the elbows, shoulders and back. All the rest is really detail. We're talking about pockets, reflective panels, comfort linings, and so on. Obviously, if it rains, you'll need a waterproof, but on a hot day this jacket is going to take some beating.

Richard Buck: Superb jacket for Spain

I live in Madrid and unlike the majority of bikers I like to wear protective gear rather than a T shirt when the temperature starts to rise. This jacket I much prefer to the Rukka air jacket that I have as well. The reason is that it fits better, is much more comfortable and the grey Marrakesh I bought I am convinced is cooler to wear than the black Rukka because the light grey does not absorb the sun as much So at traffic lights and in traffic jams the Marrakech is best but I do suggest buying the grey if you want to use in really hot areas. I just wish more manufacturers would offer lighter colours and not the dark greys and blacks. I hope this is helpful

Mike: Look Marrakech Jacket

This is the best warm weather jacket I have ever used. I brought it in the middle of a heat wave which ended the day it arrived. I finally lost patience and went for a ride in a fairly middling summer day at around 20 degrees. I rode over Dartmoor where the temperature dropped to 16 degrees. I felt very comfortable in this jacket. It is light-weight but feels reassuring once on. It is also very stretchy which greatly adds to the comfort. Believe me - try one of these and you will never wear leather in the summer again. I got mine with the added waist zip which means I can connect it to a pair of Rokker revolutions. This is a great addition by Motolegends which really should be a factory fit.I am Rukka size 50 and purchased a medium which fits like a glove. Top service from Motolegends by the way

R Hill: My new go-to summer jacket.

Bought to replace a conventional and considerably cheaper mesh jacket, where fit wasnt that great, I'm amazed with this thing and use it more and more. First thing to note is that this isn't a mesh jacket instead the fabric breathes gently allowing air through its stretchy weave on every panel. A lot of mesh jackets have closed fabric on the outer panels for abrasion resistance, so just leaving inner areas with mesh, often lining up with the bikes wind protection and so limiting flow. With this, its simple all areas breathe. The way the air can move through isn't up there with mesh, but in the average UK summer, its bang on. By the time you're heading past 30C its going to get sweaty anyway, but frankly if that's happening I want to be in the car with AC! The real standout is the comfort with all that stretch, this is genuinely the most comfortable jacket Ive owned. I pair it with Macan jeans and its a top summer combo in grey as it really doesn't seem to absorb solar heat. Theres also the bonus of not looking too biker if you just want to pop to the shops. With decent D3O armour and good claimed slide times from all that cordura, its hopefully going to look after you as well. Okay, so not track day material, but stay cool and alert and youre looking after primary safety not binning it in the first place. The fit is American generous and in Large it feels like EUR56 to me. Totally recommended and a proper quality 5 garment. Not cheap only you can decide if you thinks its worth it, but I certainly use mine a lot more than originally anticipated
