Klim Kodiak 2 pants in navy blue Product Information

The Klim Kodiak trousers are the lower half of the Kodiak suit. This suit represents a bit of a departure for Klim, as it is very firmly aimed at the touring and commuting audience rather than Klim's more usual adventure rider. But as with the new version 2 jacket, the pants have been updated to make them even more suitable, and more comfortable, for road riding. Most particularly, new Gore-Tex stretch gussets in the crotch provide improved mobility. The outer chassis is a laminated, Gore-Tex Pro Shell. This means that the trousers will never 'wet out'. And when they do get wet, they will dry out quickly. For added abrasion resistance, you get leather panels on the knees, and added 630D Cordura twisted yarn overlays in the seat and down the inside of the legs. Level 2, D30 armour comes as standard in the hips and knees. For riding in hotter weather, the Kodiak trousers have four vents; two on the fronts of the thighs, and two on the backs. For a better fit, there are adjusters on the waist and calves. You also get two zip pockets and black 3M Scotchlite reflectors to help with night time visibility. Finally, as you would expect, the Kodiak trousers come with a zip that allows them to be attached to any Klim jacket. And braces too. Unlike the new jacket, the pants don’t come with a thermal liner, but that’s nothing a merino mid-layer won’t fix.
