The Dry Wind Sweater is a bit of a hybrid. It is, on one level, a synthetic base-layer that is designed to help wick sweat away from the body. It is light in weight and incorporates large areas of mesh. In fact, most of the garment is fashioned from a mesh material. This is the kind of top you want to be wearing in hot weather. But the Dry Wind Sweater has a trick up its sleeve. It will help your sweat wick away from the body, but if you end up riding in cooler conditions, either because of the wind chill, or if you the temperature drops later in the day, the Dry Wind will protect you because it has a windproof front panel. So this is still not a top you would wear in colder weather, but if you ever ride in changeable conditions, then this might be the one to go for. Now, ‘changeable conditions’.
