Icebreaker mens merino 150 Zone leggings in black Product Information

These leggings are multi-purpose and dual-function.

Merino, as everybody knows, has a number of qualities. It traps heat, it wicks moisture, it holds moisture without causing the wearer to feel wet and it tends not to get stinky.

150 g. is the lightest weight Merino produced by Icebreaker. That makes it the perfect weight for a base layer. It’s super thin so you’ll barely know you’re wearing it beneath a motorcycle pant or a pair of jeans. In hot conditions, these leggings will wick sweat away from your body. If you want a layer to provide insulation you might go for something a bit thicker; something in 200 g. or 260 g.. But nonetheless if you wanted something to wear beneath a pair of single-layer jeans to add a touch of warmth on a cool day, these leggings would add something; not a lot, but something.

These leggings have mesh or perforated panels in the lower back and behind the knees for added breathability. They also have Flatlock seams to prevent chafing.

These leggings will do a similar job to a synthetic base layer, but they offer a number of advantages over a synthetic legging, albeit at a slight cost premium

Richard Harmer: Great leggings

Plenty long enough. Good stretch so fit really well. Feel nice and comfy under my Halvarssons Wien pants. Dont need to be any thickerwarmer when riding at 8 degrees.

Andrew D-based: Just right!

Have tried these recently and they extra warmth without much extra bulk under GoreTex trousers. The key thing is that unlike some thermal inners that come originally with trousers, their lack of bulk means that you avoid that horrible feeling of where is the ground when you put your leg down. Recommended.
