The Rukka Down-X 2.0 jacket is a stand alone down filled mid-layer. It comes as standard in the top end Rukka jackets like the Nivala 2.0 and the Kinglsey but can be bought separately to wear with some of the lower spec jackets that come without an internal lining like the Kalix 2.0 or the Rimo-R. Of course, it can also be worn with an outer jacket gfrom another brand! It has a 110g filling which has a 90:10 down:feather ratio.
It can be worn on its own as a destination jacket and comes with a handy stow bag so easy to carry with you for when needed.
This specification of down jacket is the warmest mid-layer you can get without resorting to heated clothing.

Bought to go under Klim Marrakesh and Helstons leather jackets. Very warm and comfortable, with windproof neck and minimal bulk. So much better than any thermal liner supplied with jackets. Worth every penny.

A very warm jacket, bought to go under the Kalix 2. Ive ended up sewing a couple of elastic thumb loops on the sleeves to stop it sliding up my forearms when I put it through the sleeves.
