Very lightweight with appropriate protection where you need it, much better than jeans which can bunch behind your knees especially on a sports bike. A1 product

Dominic Tee: Product Review

If you ride a cruiser or modern classic then these trousers are perfect. If the thought of having to start any ride wearing waterproofs as the weather looks very suspect or the thought of having to stop to put waterproof trousers really annoys you, then these trousers are perfect. I wore these trousers over 10 days through France, Switzerland, Italy, through the Alps and Austria, they provide warmth when i needed it, were not too hot when the temperatures got higher and when they needed to keep me dry for the return home from Munich to Paris they kept me warm and dry for the 7 hour ride. I can also confirm that their resistance to abrasion is suburb, no sign that I had been sliding when knocked off my bike last week. The liner is removable and washable which means you keep the trousers smelling nice without the need to wash the complete trousers using the waterproof agent recommend. you will not be disappointed with these trousers - honest - money well spent.

Superb! The perfect summer/autumn trousers. With the summer we have had so far I can definitely vouch for the waterproof bit!! Haven't tried them in winter yet but should be fine along with a good base layer.

Superb trousers, pricey, but worth every penny, however, if you are buying these, bear in mind, the sizing is very generous..i ordered a 48..which is a '30' isnt, its 33.!! To get a good fit, for 30 the a 28. as they are actually a 31inch waist..!! take this as read for other sizing..look excellent when on..and very comfortable to wear, my wife wants a pair now..!!

These are very comfortable and easy to wear on long rides, but they are not waterproof - at least not after a few serious dowsings! Mine started off fine, but the waterproofing diminished after a few months and they are now not proofed at all.

The waterproof liner finishes 5" above the pant bottom so when you sit on the bike it is above the top of normal boots.I have a 31"inside leg.The bottom leg is so wide,18", it flaps like a duck taking off, and hooks on to footrests, very draughty too.

great trouser light and waterproof, wife bought me them in dec 2011, and there still going strong, worth every penny

Andrei Ilinca: Good product

I've been wearing these almost daily for a year now (from below 0 to hot summer) and I feel great in them but... they are kinda waterproof. What I mean by that is that you will not get wet (I've been in many situation (as a courier) under hours of rain...but a lot of that water is absorbed. That means it will be very cold and it takes close to a day before they dry out enough to be worn again (more like 2 if you want them really dry). That is the only part I don't like...I left them in a room with a heater turned on for 18h and they were still wet and cold when I put them on the next day. They keep you dry and keep the water as well :)

Scott Adams: Solid, quality jeans

Nice thick material. Size as expected. Snug, cosy and windproof with the liner in. Haven't tested in rain yet. Slightly annoying that the zip doesn't stay fully done up on my pair (maybe the fit is too snug on me!) and I wouldn't recommend the Furygan knee armour that's on the same page as the knee pocket on these is open from the bottom so there's nothing to keep them in place. Get the Halvarssons ones with the little velcro pad that'll stick to the strip inside the knee pockets. An inch or two longer in the leg would be better too. But over all, nice jeans.
