Macna Centre heated pants

You can, I suppose, wear these heated pants by connecting them directly to the bike's battery, But I imagine that most people will want to connect the pant directly into the jacket. After all, it's usually the priority to keep one's core warm.

 

The pants themselves are reasonably lightweight, although they are obviously going to be thicker than your average base- or mid-layer. But, of course, the beauty of the Centre pants is that they will keep you warm hour after hour when you're on the bike.

 

The pants can also be powered by a 7.4 volt or 12 volt portable battery for outdoor activities

 

The heating elements are a bit like an aluminium foil. This provides a very even heat coverage. The aluminium also reflects heat back towards the body.

 

As with the Centre and Ascent jackets, you do not need a separate controller to adjust the heat levels. You can use the rubber button on the left leg to toggle between the four different heat levels, or you can use the Macna app. on your phone. And, in truth, this is probably easier than trying to reach inside your trousers to find the button.
