Protective wear returns in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland)

Our ‘Returns' policy on motorcycle protective wear is pretty straightforward, but nonetheless there is some technical stuff we need to go through with you. Basically, if you want to return something to us because it doesn't fit, or because you've simply changed your mind, you have a full 12 months to get your goods back to us. On Sale or reduced price items you need to return the goods within 14 days. All that we ask is that the items be returned to us unused, in their original packaging, and with all the relevant labels, so that they can be re-sold as new items. If you are returning faulty goods, you must get them back to us within 14 days.

Returning items that you have decided you don’t want to keep is free on the first return and only on full-price purchases. Items in the Sale and items that have been purchased at below the recommended price do not attract free returns.

Our free returns service is through ‘DPD’. This allows you to drop off your package of at one of thousands of local stores in the UK.To find your nearest drop off use this online DPD Shop Finder: https://www.dpd.co.uk/apps/shopfinder/index.jsp

If your order is eligible for free returns a pre-paid returns postage label is included in your original order along with your packing slip. Simply package up the items you wish to return securely, ideally using the original packaging they came in. Apply the label to the outside of the package and take it to your nearest DPD Pickup Shop

As soon as we receive your return we will process it.

Protective wear returns in Northern Ireland

If you are returning items from Northern Ireland and are eligible for free returns, please call our customer service team on +44 (0) 1483 407 500 to arrange for us to email a free UPS return label.

Non-protective wear and Sale item returns in the UK

On items of non-protective wear like books, T-shirts, diecast models, gifts and accessories, and any sale item your statutory rights under the 2014 Consumer Contracts Regulations will apply. Basically, if you wish to return an item, for whatever reason, you must make contact with us within a fortnight of receiving your goods.

It is your responsibility to make sure that any items you are returning reach us safely, so please remember to take out the appropriate insurance. All goods must reach us in an unused condition, with all the packaging, and all labels, intact, such that they can be re-sold as new items.

Under the current legislation, there are items that cannot be returned to us, such as opened DVDs and underwear. Special order and bespoke items, like Bagster tank covers, can also not be returned.

If you are based outside the UK, please see the section on returning goods from overseas.

Returning goods from overseas

For reasons we trust you will understand, we do not offer free returns to customers returning items from overseas. But we will accept returns of protective wear for up to 12 months as per our standard returns policy, if you change your mind, and do not want to keep your goods.

There's really only one point we would like to make about returns from overseas; and it's a point that applies only if you are based outside the EU. We would ask you to mark clearly on the box something along the following lines:

"MAIL ORDER GOODS RETURNED FOR EXCHANGE. PLEASE DO NOT CHARGE DUTY"

The problem is that our warehouse staff are programmed not to accept any parcels with import duty charges, and what this could mean is that your package ends up being returned to you.

A slightly different procedure applies if the goods you receive are faulty, or if you wish to change them for another product, or another size. If this is the case, we would ask you to make contact with us within a fortnight of receiving the goods. We will then want to have a discussion with you to see if there is a better solution than shipping your goods back to the UK!

When exchanging goods, a fee of £10.00 or £20.00 will be charged to cover the shipping costs.
