Halvarssons Trenton jacket in brown (HAL733)
Product InformationThe Halvarssons Trenton is a biking jacket based loosely on the design of the original WW2, A2 flying jacket. It's made from a washed, or tumbled, goatskin. Now goatskin tends to be thinner than cowhide, but for its thickness it's much stronger. Goat, though, is superbly comfortable to wear, and indeed that's the case with the Trenton. But, as always, Halvarssons has lined this jacket in all the most vulnerable areas with its own Hi-Art lining that increases the strength of leather by 200%. CE armour is fitted, as standard, in the elbows and shoulders. There's a pocket for a back protector, although frankly we would recommend our own Velcro-adapted D30 protector over Halvarssons' own. That is, unless you're wanting a protector that can double as a wake board! The jacket has two pockets on the outside, and two more on the inside. The collar is kept in place with fasteners to stop it flying about in the wind. The hem adjusts by means of two side buckle straps. Obviously, the Trenton will zip into any Halvarssons pant, but use the company's simple but clever Waist Zip, and you can connect the jacket to any pair of jeans. This is going to be a great summer jacket. If it is cold, layer up. If it is wet, put on a waterproof. Or take the car!
