Held Lawrence jacket in green
I recently bought a Held Lawrence although the name seems to vary! waxed cotton jacket for riding a new BSA Gold Star. I am very happy with the jacket, which looks the ticket and is comfortable. Easy to layer-up beneath in cold weather and lack of a waterproof membrane is no problem as I have no intention of riding any distance when wet and will assist in warm weather. The only reservation I have is that, despite not having too fat a neck, the collar of this jacket is VERY close fitting and has no adjustment. I cannot wear anything with a high neck beneath it and can JUST fasten the collar stud with a neck buff only. However, not a huge problem. I am very happy overall.
Held Woodland riding shirt in red / black
Finally gavee in and bought a riding shirt, wrong end of summer really but it will be there in the spring.. Anyway its perfect. Looks great, keeps me cool and warm and goes with my RE 350 very well indeed. Of course, it has a very narrow window of application but when the weather is right, this is a real treat to wear. Goes without saying, Motolegends service is perfect too.
Held Cosmo 3.0 leather jacket
Best leather jacket Ive bought. The quality is amazing really cool riding down in Spain during the recent heatwave as the venting is excellent. Back in northern Europe I put a Scott rain jacket over the top which kept the rain and wind out. Very comfortable and the sizing is spot on if slightly on the generous side.
