Halvarssons is one our favourite motorcycle clothing brands. The company is Swedish, and they make serious, well designed, high-performance garments for the committed motorcyclist. They make textile trousers, leather trousers and motorcycle jeans, but we are particularly impressed by their textile trousers. They are extremely comfortable to wear, yet typically come with a waterproof membrane. removable thermal liner, CE approved armour, Hi-Art anti-abrasion panelling, and plenty of ventilation openings. For the person who commutes or tours extensively, we think that Halvarssons represents the best possible solution. Only Rukka's laminated products offer any performance advantage, but Rukka's motorcycle trousers are both heavier and stiffer, and so are less comfortable. Rukka's trousers are also much more expensive. Coming from a tannery town, Halvarssons makes some really nice leather trousers. They also do great jeans, and some quite interesting trousers for the adventure, or off-road, rider.

My 1st leather suit got the Jacket too. Wore it at the weekend and found it really comfy and better than textile. Tricky to get the right size. I ordered 2 sizes and wrestled with the fact that leather gives a little vs going a size up. Going to the shop probably would have been better. Kit turned up in a very battered box and I had a hassle returning it as it was confusing around return labels. A return label was in the box but having taken it to the DHL drop Off it was not the correct label. After a phone call I then got the necessary label and got the unwanted kit sent back. Lots of tape needed on the box to secure the contents! Stronger boxes needed for such heavy garments. Love the product. Really comfy. Sat on the bike to make sure pads sat in the correct place. Leg length good. Im 6ft 2 with a 32 inch leg.
Halvarssons Zion trousers in camo
I am very pleased with my Halvarssons Zion Motorcycle Trousers. Working on a budget, I wanted something between my Winter Motorcycle Trousers Waterproof with Thermal Lining and my Summer, Single Skin, Motorcycle Trousers. The Zion Trousers are textile with a Waterproof also Windproof Membrane. They do not have a Thermal Lining. Good deep Pockets. Great for days when its not too warm, but not too cold and the possibility of rain. The Zion Trouser is very comfortable and strongly made. Ive tried it in all weathers now and they do the trick, Rain or Shine. Only thing to mention is that the Halvarssons knee armour is a bit old fashioned and whilst being totally safe, it is a bit rigid and catches the bottom of your knee when not on your bike. I upgraded the Hip Knee Armour to SAS-TEC Level 2 soft armour and that problem was sorted. A great Motorcycle Trouser for a Good Price.
