Halvarssons Jackets

We speak about it offering 90% of Rukka's quality for 50% of Rukka's money. And although one might argue with the exact numbers, the proposition still stands. Halvarssons jackets offer high-end utility and quality for a mid-market price.
 
Over time, we really got to trust the brand. They made some fantastic motorcycle jackets back then, and still do. Their drop-liner Prime jacket became a best seller. It seemed to work for all kinds of riders. It was comfortable, versatile and protective. Importantly, it seemed to fit almost everybody. That jacket was replaced by the Wien, and most recently the Vinvallen; a jacket that is still, in every way, the spiritual successor to the original Prime. All three of these jackets also had a female version which was well fitted and comfortable for ladies of quite varied sizes!
 
For the high-mileage, hardcore, all-year-round commuters one might still suggest that a Rukka jacket might be a better choice, but for those who don't absolutely need what Rukka has to offer, a Halvarssons jacket is probably the next best bet. And that means a lot of bikers.

Cliff: Best Leather Jacket

Ive been riding bikes for a very long time. I ride all year round and all over the world. This jacket is by far one of the best Ive had. Ive just come back from 3500 trip all over europe, riding in all weathers. Even in very heavy rain it never let me down. Beautiful made. Very happy and with the service I recived.

This is my first mesh jacket, bought for this summers baking hot weather. There is a weight and heft to the jacket, feeling substantial with large well placed armour that gives reassurance of standing up well if the unfortunate happens. There are plenty of pockets with good quality YKK zips. The mesh is along the arms, front of chest and back panel. The arms and chest work reasonably well, but if you fit a back protector you loose some of the cooling effect imho. I also like the full zip connector around the waist, which gives me the sense of added security in keeping the jacket in place. For the money, I think this is a really good jacket.

Rodders: comfy

Like the trousers this jacket does what the label says. Ive been out in the cold wind and rain and stayed dry and warm. Was out in the heat today and was very comfortable, didnt sweat in this heat with the jacket on, took out the liner and was just perfect.... Halverson for me all the way as their clothing is always comfortable. I got alpine gortex before trying this suit but found they didnt fit well on my female body and they were stiff and uncomfortable. I can honestly say all clothing i have for my bike is mainly Halverson and have no complaints about them at all. A lot of bike gear for women just dont fit well. Halverson ladies selection does !!!
