To be honest I have always bought used leather jackets as a much cheaper option. However I treated myself to this and its real quality. Fits well, zips feel like they are unbreakable and the quality of the leather is first rate.. I cannot tell any difference between cow and buffalo leather but I can see £100price difference.

I decided to purchase a summer jacket to use on the very hottest of days and the recent heatwave in mid June was the perfect time to test! Riding along for a couple hours in 27deg was a delight I got off the bike for a cold drink and my t shirt was completely dry underneath the Modelo. I am 43 chest and took an XL jacket which is perfect. I chose the Modelo over Belstaff as I have two other Helstons jackets a leather cruiser and an oak hunt jacket all 3 come with a complete set of armour and of the highest quality imaginable. Nothing gets close for value for money in my mind!
