Adventure touring motorcycle boots

The biggest growing sector of biking currently is the adventure category. And defining adventure motorcycling is not easy. These boots are not for hard core off road specialist but more for people adventuring mainly on the black stuff but perhaps sometimes including some tracks and grassy verges. These adventure motorcycle boots will be protective on the bike but comfortable enough to walk around the town too! These are all waterproof boots so appropriate for adventures to all corners of the UK as well as abroad.

For a full range of adventure boots from proper off-road, through mixed on and off to a road boot with an adventure look we would recommend looking at Forma boots. They have an offering that covers every niche. For a really solid adventure option, check out the Klim boots. They also offer what we think is the best of the 'bike and hike' offerings to give you a boot that can be used on the bike and on the tourist trail.

Stylmartin Vertigo boots in brown

Simon Dixon: Best versatile touring boot

This is the second pair of Stylmartin Vertigo boots that I have bought. I was very pleased when I found that Motolegends was stocking them. I find these boots to be ideal for motorcycle touring as they are the most comfortable boots on the motorcycle that I have owned and they really add value by being equally as comfortable when you are walking and off the bike. I cannot recommend these boots enough.

Klim Outlander GTX boots in castlerock petrol

Graham: Klim Outlander Boots Review Perfect for Larger Calves and Versatile Use

If you have larger calves like me, finding the right boots can be a challenge. Short boots are usually my go-to, and after trying many, I found the Klim Outlander to be a great fit. Not only do they accommodate my calf size comfortably, but they also shine when Im off the biketheyre genuinely comfortable for walking around. Ive taken these boots on a 3-month tour across the US and multiple trips across Europe over the past few years. Theyve stood up well to all kinds of terrain and weather, making them a reliable companion. The only downside? Because they are so comfortable and durable, Ive already worn through two pairs and am now on my third! If youre in the market for boots that combine a good fit for larger calves with great off-bike usability, the Klim Outlander is definitely worth considering.

Held Brickland LC GTX boots in black

Thornton: Comfortable and robust boots

Initially stiff, these boots quickly became comfortable while retaining a solid air of robustness. The construction is heavy-duty but they are easy to walk in and unobtrusive on the bike. Ive ridden in low single figure temps and some filthy rain and, as expected, my feet stayed warm and dry. Although a short boot, they seem long enough to avoid any gap that would allow water to enter from the top. Early days but Im happy with my purchase.
