Klim Motorcycle Boots
Klim is an adventure brand and they make great boots for your motorbike adventures. Some of the boots come with a Goretex (GTX) lining so will be guaranteed waterproof although they also do a highly breathable boot with no waterproof membrane for those hot and humid adventures! They are made for walking and riding so can be your single piece of footwear for a biking trip. Our only word of caution would be sizing. Klim is an American brand. We sell their boots from the American size (which we translate to a European size). The European size in the boots themselves seems not to agree with anyone else's translation of American to European sizing. So please believe our translation not what the boots themselves say!

Klim Outlander GTX boots in castlerock petrol
I combine hiking with bike trips and bought these hoping to save dragging around a set of walking boots as well as my Daytonas. Theyve certainly exceeded expectations on the bike they feel just like a biking boot, and in the hills they feel just like a walking boot. The only problem was that they do seem to come up small. Im a Euro45 but needed to go a size up on Klims chart to a US12. Otherwise, mine had a bit of wearing in hod carrying on the farm, and have been very comfortable since. Ive done proper hill walking in them in Scotland and theyve been absolutely fine. They give good feel on the bike and despite the sole being very grippy in the hills, theres no problem in moving your feet on the controls. Waterproofing is good, and I use my walking gaiters to fill in below my waterproofs.

I bought these Klim Outlander GTX for a 3 week trip to British Columbia and Alberta where the bike was showing 43 C one day , lots of miles , on pavement and on some gnarly gravel roads look at another guys video highway 31 one crazy highway on youtube lots of trail walks in national parks and mountains , I only had these and a pair of loop to sandals with me so they were on pretty much 247 , feet were never hot or cold on a glacier. Riding Walking, Pubs, Restaurants, Camping and in the odd very nice Hotel they were fantastic everywhere. Time will tell how they are keeping out the Scottish rain as they are low cut. As a self confessed Scottish tight arse who deliberated for several days as these boots were expensive I can only say that I am very very glad that I bought them.

These are outstanding. - Flawless waterproofing - Supremely comfortable - BOA lacing is amazing, so quick to adjust and take onoff. - They are actually good walking boots as well, light and flexible. Not just for a stroll around town, but a proper mountain climb.
