You're somebody who loves bikes, but you have a healthy respect for the dangers they present, and you go to some lengths to make sure you stack the odds in your favour. You might well have been a little more cavalier in the past, but with age comes a degree of wisdom. You have almost certainly come to the realisation that you don't need to be travelling at well in excess of the legal speed limit in order to enjoy your biking. Not that you're a goody two shoes; if the conditions are right and you judge it to be safe, you're not afraid to open it up.
But you take motorcycling and your bike pretty seriously. You're not really the kind of guy to overtake traffic on the inside, unless it's absolutely necessary, and you take some pride in knowing how to ride well. You have a degree of scorn for the knee down brigade, and those bikers who wheelie away from the lights. Doesn't mean you don't begrudgingly admire the skill required to do it well! You wear the right gear. You'll almost certainly have textile jacket and pants in your wardrobe, and you feel that you're not properly dressed unless you're wearing a full-faced helmet. You wouldn't ride without amour, and recognise the benefits of hi-viz clothing. You look after your bike well, and make sure that it's always fit for the road.
