Klim Latitude pants in black Product Information
As it sounds, the Latitude pant is the matching lower half that goes with the Latitude jacket, a Klim spat that is aimed very firmly at the road rider who does very little, if any, off-road riding.
It has a two-layer, laminate construction; in fact, the membrane comes from Gore-Tex; what is known as a Performance Shell.
For added strength, the outer material is re-enforced with extra layers of 840 denier Cordura. D3O comes as standard in the hips and the knees. You also get leather panels down the insides of the legs. The pants are rated AA under EN17092.
There are vents on the fronts and on the backs of the thighs. You get two, high-up, zip pockets and an external pocket on the left leg. Obviously, there’s a zip to allow the pant to be connected to the Latitude jacket. You get adjuster straps at the waist. At the bottoms of the legs, there are zips to allow the pants to go over touring boots. A set of poppers then allow the hem to be tightened at the ankle.
Importantly, the Latitude pants come in three different leg lengths, which is important in getting the armour in the right place.
But, as with the Latitude jacket, the pants do not come with any form of thermal lining. You have to supply your own.
