The Rukka Stretchair jacket is a ladies’ version of the men’s Forsair jacket. It is the last word in airflow, as every single panel flows air. Most mesh jackets fall down when it comes to an accident situation, but made from a 650 denier Cordura, the Rukka Stretchair is going to be far more robust than your average mesh jacket. But what makes the jacket so effective at flowing air is that the Cordura is knitted rather than woven; and it is this that increases the fabric’s ability to flow air by almost 100%. The elbows and shoulders are re-inforced with a second layer of Cordura for extra strength. Obviously, as the ladies’ version, the garment is cinched at the waist for a more fitted look. To this end, you also get stretch panels under the arms and down the flanks. There are zip and Velcro adjusters at the sleeve ends. The jacket comes fitted with D3O, LP1 armour in the elbows and shoulders. There’s a pocket for a back protector. There are adjusters at the hip. And a zipped gusset to allow the hem to splay a little when sat on the bike. You get two, external zipped pockets, one of which contains a waterproof bag for your phone or other items that you don’t want to get wet. There are also two internal pockets.
