The Arai Quantic was the first helmet from Arai to meet the ECE 22-06 safety standard, which tells you a lot about what this helmet is all about. It’s designed for the real world - for long days in the saddle, big-mile touring, and high-speed stability - all with Arai’s uncompromising focus on protection.

The Quantic uses a newly developed shell that’s both lighter and more compact than earlier Arai models. It delivers full Arai-spec safety with less bulk, making it more manageable on longer rides. Ventilation is excellent, with 12 ports in total - six inlets and six exhausts - making it one of the best-vented helmets Arai has ever built.

As with all Arai helmets, there’s no drop-down sun visor and no integrated comms. That’s deliberate - anything that interrupts the integrity of the shell doesn’t make it into production. What you do get is a Pinlock anti-fog insert, a breath guard, chin curtain and Arai’s legendary build quality.

What shape is the Arai Quantic helmet?

The Arai outer shell shape is very rounded and smooth as with all Arais. This helps with any glancing off blows in an accident. However the internal shape is for an oval head. Normally an Arai is slightly rounder than a Shoei helmet but still very much an oval fit.

How long do Arai helmets last?

The length of time a helmet lasts is very much down to how much it is worn. Having said that all Arai helmets come with a five year warranty.

Is an Arai Quantic quiet?

Not particularly. Arai helmets are not made to be particularly quiet. The focus is on making the most protective, safest helmet on the market.

Is an Arai worth the money?
