Bowtex ladies Elite V2 leggings black Product Information
The Bowtex Elite leggings can be worn as a base layer under any garment and thereby give you AAA levels of abrasion resistance together with Level 2 armour (Sastec) on the knees and hips. The pants have a high waistband and a braided waist cord in order to allow you to tighten accordingly. There are elasticated loops to run under the foot to ensure the leggings don't ride up at the ankle.
The leggings are made from Dyneema (which is a UHMWPE) which gives them a great level of strength without being horribly thick, hot and heavy. They are breathable and soft against the skin and very stretchy. The fabric also have thermo-conductive properties which means they feel cool to the touch.
Some brands claim their leggings are Unisex. But, Bowtex has designed this legging specifically for women. They are shorter, the thighs are more generous and the waistband is wider and has a higher rise at both the front and the back. Well done Bowtex and thank you!
