D3O armour | D3O protectors | D3O Ghost

D3O was invented in 1999 by two British scientists and is still based in London in the UK. The product was first used in the motorcycle world in 2009. Since then it has steadily grown to become the body armour of choice for many top motorcycle brands as well as being the a trusted brand for bikers themselves. It is recognised for its orange colour and comes in many shapes and sizes. You can get limb protectors CE certified to both Level 1 and Level 2 and also back protectors in both levels. All these now come as a Ghost D3O option too.

Not all protectors will go in all pockets and some garments require Velcro to attach the protectors. Call us or email us if you need advice regarding what will work in your garments.

D3O work with Klim, Rukka, Belstaff, Endura, Held, Richa, Rokker.

D3O level 2 back protector for this jacket

Mik Kawanami: D30 Back Protector

Peace of mind for my wife to wear in her new jacket. I use them and figured she should too. It makes the jacket bigger and heavier but its worth the offset in the case you need it. For the price, it makes no sense not to use one.

D3O Viper Air Level 2 back protector

TJRL: D30 - Just Getting Better

The new D30 level 2 back protector is the same size as the old one including thickness. However it has larger air holes and less material, so it is lighter than the original. Apparently it gives the same level of protection, but I have no intention of putting that to the test if I can avoid it. What I can confirm, is that it is more comfortable to wear than the original and is the same price.

D3O Viper Level 1 back protector with Velcro

Alex Docherty: Peace of mind

Bought the back protector for Halvarssons Arvika jacket which Ive had since last year but thought time to get some protection as was hoping to wear it more during this summer Beaware you need to get the right part as not all will work due to the Velcro in the jacket and on the protector. Soft and playable good addition thanks Motolegend well packed and deliver quickly Ta Alex D
