D3O was invented in 1999 by two British scientists and is still based in London in the UK. The product was first used in the motorcycle world in 2009. Since then it has steadily grown to become the body armour of choice for many top motorcycle brands as well as being the a trusted brand for bikers themselves. All these now come as a Ghost D3O option too.

Not all protectors will go in all pockets and some garments require Velcro to attach the protectors. Call us or email us if you need advice regarding what will work in your garments.

D3O work with many of the leading brands in motorcycling including Klim, Rukka, Belstaff, Endura, Held motorcycle gear, Richa, and supply armour for Rokker jeans

D3O Viper Pro Level 2 back protector

Paul: A Great Upgrade

Purchased as part of upgrading my overall protection items to Level 2. Really comfortable and cool but reassuringly thicker than Level 1. Easily swaps between my three jackets, as required. Well recommended.

Paul Rose: As advertised

I bought this specifically for its thinness and flexibility, and it meets my expectations here, just right to provide protection without bulking out my jacket. I havent tried its protection capabilities, and hope I never do!

Mik Kawanami: D30 Back Protector

Peace of mind for my wife to wear in her new jacket. I use them and figured she should too. It makes the jacket bigger and heavier but its worth the offset in the case you need it. For the price, it makes no sense not to use one.
