I remember being sold on these the instant I watched the video Chris posted a couple of years ago. Im the type who, even if gear is billed as sacrificing a modicum of comfort for protection, Ill take the risk. Boy, Im glad I did. The gloves take a couple of weeks to break in, but then theyre butter. Ive since bought three pair of this model and theyre the only gloves I wear until its so bitterly cold I opt for my Gerbings. I bought extra because I rotate them evenly so as to maximize their longevity. Feel may be a tad muted from something like Lee Parks Deerskin I own 2 pairs of those, but you have plenty of feedback from the bars and controls with the BKS, so dont think feel is muted. The stitching and overall craftsmanship is second to none - better than any glove I own, and I have over 30 pairs, including 2 that are CE cert KP-2. Brian makes all his gear to meet the older READ MORE RIGOROUS CE standard, even if the label doesnt state KP-2. You feel like you could step into the ring with Mike Tyson and still walk away with both ears.

GpCaptBarry: You get what you pay for

I have has many summer gloves that have a combined cost of less that this pair of gloves. But with these gloves you definitely get what you pay for. The build quality is excellent and the protection is spot on that said I have not had the need to try them in anger. The fit is good and gets better the more one wears them, the initial stiffness softens over a few hours of wear. The visor wipe, IMO, is on the wrong finger, I prefer it to be on the index finger personal choice.

Nige: Well made comfortable gloves

Ive just worn these gloves for a trip to Spain and Portugal and found them to be very comfortable. They coped well up to 25c but were warm when the temperature reached 32c, so I switched to my Klim summer gloves which werent massively better at that temperature.

Chriss video describes these gloves perfectly. Gloves are very individual and all the pairs I have are very different, however even though they are summer gloves they are extremely robust and provide a lovely reassurance. Ive had them about a month now and they are definitely getting more supple and comfortable. Just a shame the winter equivalent are no longer available as I think they would be superb.

These gloves are fantastic , a bit stiff but will run in . The protection is great , I see why the police use these and top quality. Im very pleased with my purchase , worth every penny.

This pair of gloves really are a cut above the competition. I have a few pairs of summer riding gloves that vent a little better than these. However, the levels of protection really dont come close to the Sansom Police gloves. The attention to detail, as Chris mentions in the video is excellent. Buy them, you'll love them.

I if you watch the video, where Chris is describing the gloves, you will exactly know what you will get. Probably the most solid summer glove you can get. Need to be broken in properly, but then they are great.

Excellent glove, I wore these last year on our road trip to the Swiss/Italian alps with no problems, my only minor gripe is the visor wipe, sometimes you can feel it on the inside of the glove, hence the 4 stars, other than that these are a great glove!!
