Held Misawa Sports gloves in black

In some ways, the Held Misawa is not a Motolegends kind of glove. Held bill it as a short, sportsbike-oriented, track glove. And, of course, we are not really a sportsbike-oriented retailer. But we went for this glove solely because of the way it feels; the way it wears. This is simply a lovely glove; a super-comfy place to put your hand.

 

Let's go over the spec.. It's a summer glove, obviously, so no membrane. The chassis is goatskin. There's goatskin and there's goatskin, and this must be some of the nicest, because it is incredibly soft. Because this is a glove that has been created with feel in mind, there's nothing lining the palm, although there is a light lining on the back of the hand.

 

Everything else is what you might expect to find on a high-end Held glove. So SuperFabric with an Armaprotec  backing on the palm and the minor knuckles. Concertina stretch on the fingers and in the cuff for better articulation. A hard, air-scoop, knuckle protector, air scoops on the fingers. Stretch leather for comfort. Perforations down the sides of the fingers. Smartphone sensitive forefingers. And a visor wipe. The cuff fastens with a Velcro strap, whilst the middle and index fingers are covered with a silicon script for extra grip on the bars.

 

This is still not a typical Motolegends glove, but if you're after an incredibly comfortable, highly protective, summer glove with unparalleled levels of feel, the Misawa might just be what you're looking for. We think it's quite special, but we cannot get our heads around the price. A glove like this should be much more expensive than this.
