Jon Gillan: Fits in multiple jackets
Level 2 protection for your back that is flexible and lightweight. I move my armour from jacket to jacket and can say that this fits my Helstons Trust, Merlin Gable 2, Triumph Stockton and a Dainese textile winter jacket, all in size large. I was very surprised this back protector fits so incredibly well across this range of jackets. The Triumph Stockton is 20 years old, compact fitting and made long before D3O ruled the market, but it fits like a glove even in this jacket. The safety needs no review and aside from an armadillo-style back protector this is your best bet. In terms of comfort this is a solid piece of kit but light and airy. The safety benefits far outweigh any additional bulk. Well worth it and recommended. Stay safe and look after yourself. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Motolegends top service as always. Many thanks.
MNR: QUALITY
FITS VERY WELL IN MY EWAN MCGREGOR BELSTAFF LWU JACKET. A HIGH QUALITY ITEM.
David Burns: Happily, not tested!
Bought as a replacement for the Level 1 back protector supplied in my Comfort R Rukka suit. It is obviously more substantial, is soft and comfortable to wear. I hope that I never have to actively test it! Motolegends service excellent as always.
Joe: D30 viper
Fits well in klim Daker jacket. Sure it breathes well but not as fast as i sweat when riding technical stuff. Amazingly not fallen off since i had it so maybe it has magic protection built in? I also have d30 l2 knee and hip armour which i have tested several times and came away unscathed. Guess it works or i am lucky .
TJRL: D30 - Just Getting Better
The new D30 level 2 back protector is the same size as the old one including thickness. However it has larger air holes and less material, so it is lighter than the original. Apparently it gives the same level of protection, but I have no intention of putting that to the test if I can avoid it. What I can confirm, is that it is more comfortable to wear than the original and is the same price.
Pokeralex: Top level equipment
Top service and super quick delivery as always from motolegends. The one area of armour I always need to know is the best I can get is my spine, yes you can get thinner pads, but this bad boy covers well, softens with body heat to the point I cant feel it, but I know D30 works well. The air version really does reduce back sweat too in my summer mesh jackets. Cheers guys!!
