Minichamps Kawasaki 900 Z1 Super 4 1972 - Red/Brown 1:12 Product Information
Minichamps 1:12 diecast model of the 1972 Kawasaki 900 Z1 Super 4 in red/brown. The Kawasaki 900 Z1 Super 4 was the first in Kawasaki's series of Z models. Following on from the introduction of the Honda CB750 in 1968, the Z1 helped popularise the in-line, across-the-frame four-cylinder format. The machine was noted for being the first large-capacity Japanese four-cylinder motorcycle to use the double-overhead-camshaft system on a production motorcycle. Up until then, only the MV Agusta 750 S had used this system, and that was a very expensive limited-edition machine which cost over double the asking price of the Z1. With 82 bhp available, the vehicle could reach a top speed of 130 mph.
