Schuberth has brought out a Bluetooth only version of their SC comms for those who don't need mesh.
This still lets you do all the GPS and phone stuff; and will let you talk to 3 other riders, or just rider to pillion if that is what you need.
So you don't get mesh, but you do get quite a saving.
