D3O Diablo Level 2 knee / elbow protectors Product Information
D3O Diablo knee (or elbow) protectors are the lightest, most breathable limb protectors the company has ever produced. It is almost unbelievable that armour this comfortable, this light can pass the CE Level 2 certification, but it does!
The armour will fit in any existing D3O pocket that takes either original D3O LP or Ghost. It is gently pre-curved so fits the rider well. Even the Level 2 armour is only 9.5mm thick and weighs just 106g (per piece).
Diablo armour is made by injection moulding, so as an added benefit there is less waste during manufacturing.

William: Diablo D30 Armour
As so many other customers have stated, an excellent upgrade from the Ghost Armour, which cups your elbows and knees to prevent the armour sliding out of position. Highly recommended with the usual great service from ML.
Istvan P: I hope itll never be needed
I love 3do protectors on my Rukka gear. Ive bought this one for my Rokker jeans, and I honestly and truly hope I will never be needing these. They are nicely made and nearly invisible under the jeans.
Richard: Diablo D30 knee armour
Just replaced my knee armour in my PMJ jeans with a set of the new Diablo D30 armour. Like other reviews I can confirm they fit well and are really comfortable when on and off the bike. I wouldnt go as far as saying you dont notice the armour when off the bike but its as close as you can get and level 2 protection. Great product and keenly priced
Anthony Savell: Replaced all of my jacket and jean armour with Diablo
I love this stuff! I cant believe its level 2, so flexible and breathable and at such a good price point compared to L2 Ghost. My jeans feel no more bulky and incredibly comfortable and its made my Belstaff Ariel feel so much less like Im about to play linebacker for the raiders, compared to the L1 D30 it comes with, its night and day, and even my riding shirt supplied with L1 Ghost still looks shirt-like with it in. Cant recommend enough
Andy S: Fantastic
I bought a pair of Diablo knee protectors for my wife to replace the older type of she had in her jeans that I bought from Motolegends a few years ago and they proved to be thinner and more comfortable. They were so good I bought another pair for my own jeans that I also purchased from Motolegends awhile back. Great product.
MARK: Excellent armour
Now used in my Klim Marrakesh and Rokker jeans.
Neil: Quantum leap
Honestly this is as big a jump forward as when D3O first started replacing the horrible big armour that was prevalent several years back. As comfortable as ghost but level 2, makes everything else seem obsolete.
Andrew Pullen: very comfortable
im very impressed with just how comfortable this armour is, having swapped out the previous ghost armour in my jeans, this is far better to ride in, it seems to stay in position better and because its more squishy it moulds to the riders movements far better.
Richard: Almost perfect
Just a pain that it does not come with a velcro option. Otherwise brilliant.
wayne: Diablo D30 Armour
bought a marrakesh jacket back in January 2025, forgot to ask about upgrading the armour to level 2, which now im glad about. As now i have the new Diablo Armour, which i am very happy with, its very comfortable, dosent even feel as though i had armour on, it covers more area also, and as for the Marrakesh wow just love it, would highly recommend all of the above, thanks Chris for changing my view on motorcycle clothing
Alex: Night and day difference
Rode 80 miles today with these Diablo knee armour and Diabl0 hip armour in my existing pair of bike jeans. Temperature 18-20 degrees. The difference compared to the armour which came with these jeans and my previous pair was incredible. You really dont know you are wearing it, and its so flexible. The knee protectors also cover more of and wrap around the shape of my knees far better than anything Ive worn before and the ventilation is very good too. I will be upgrading my back protector to Diablo too.
Shaun: Its great
I have ghost armour in a number of my biking gear as its comfortable and discrete. Id thought Id try it to see if it was as good as chap in the cap claims. It is and is more comfy, moulds to joint better ie knees elbows and is more discrete and comfy. I decided to put it in the clothes I wear the most and have replaced ghost armour. Good stuff
Mike: Comfortable armour
Recently bought a Klim Latitude suit from Motolegends, very nice suit but disappointingly only came with level 1 armour. The Diablo armour came out a couple of weeks later Chris had mentioned it in the shop and I bought three sets shoulder, knee and elbow, they fit exactly into the Klim pockets and are more comfortable than the original armour. Only downside is that its added another 90 quid to the price of the suit.
Ran: D3O Diablo Level 2
there is nothing much to say that havent been said before about d3o products. the diablo is no exception. absolutely great upgrade to my McGregor Pro jacket. I will probably will get a set for my Rokker legends as well. about Motolegends, look no further! best customer service in the industry many thanks once again.
