D3O Diablo Level 2 shoulder protectors Product Information
D3O Diablo shoulder protectors are the lightest, most breathable limb protectors the company has ever produced. It is almost unbelievable that armour this comfortable, this light can pass the CE Level 2 certification, but it does!
The armour will fit in any existing D3O pocket that takes either original D3O LP or Ghost. It is gently pre-curved so fits the rider well. Even the Level 2 armour is only 9.5mm thick and weighs just 95g (per piece).
Diablo armour is made by injection moulding, so as an added benefit there is less waste during manufacturing.

Paul from Devon: First class armour
Less bulky and more supple than the level 1 protection. Ive swapped all of my old armour for these new variants. Highly recommended
Robin F: Make your Marrakesh even more comfortable...
Two years ago, I bought a Klim Marrakesh jacket and at the time of purchase I opted to upgrade the armour to D3O Level 2 Ghost, no doubt the correct decision at the time. Now the world has moved on and the new kid on the block is D3O Diablo Level 2 shaped armour. To be fair there was nothing wrong with the original Level 2 Ghost armour, but the new Diablo is shaped to fit your shoulders and elbows rather than being flat, and consequently it is simply even more comfortable to wear. Whilst the extra expense of £60 may to some seem unnecessary, the good news is my still perfectly serviceable Ghost armour has found a new life in my older BMW nubuck jacket, which was long overdue replacement armour. So, for me the £60 shoulder and elbow investment has proved to be money well spent on two counts...
Anthony: No more american football
These along with the elbow are in my light riding shirt. I now look like im wearing clothes instead of an american football top. I wish there was a back protector as the same shirt has Ghost L1 in the back.
Jon: Game-changer
I replaced the bulky inflexible Level 2 armour in my RST leather jacket and trousers with D3O Diablo and the difference is night and day - so much thinner, lighter, more flexible. Ultimately the Diablo made the leathers lighter, better fitting, more comfortable. Noticeable in the trousers is the lack of pressure on the knee - with previous armour a minor pressure point can become uncomfortable a real distraction after a long time in the saddle. The Diablo is so flexible and breathable that is no longer a problem and makes all the difference. After trying it in my leathers I immediately ordered a set for my textile suit as well, it is that good. Thanks for introducing this armour Motolegends, you have improved the enjoyment of my rides.
