The armour will fit in any existing D3O pocket that takes either original D3O LP or Ghost. It is gently pre-curved so fits the rider well. Even the Level 2 armour is only 9.5mm thick.

Steve: Great for all the reasons they claim!
The only negative you can say about these is they dont fit every brand but then thats not D3Os fault. All good, very comfortable, very light thin. No reason to go with L1 anymore.

The new D30 Diablo Level 2 armour takes things to a new level. Its only very slightly thicker than the old Level 1 Ghost armour but better, not only because it is Level 2 but because it is shaped. Ive always felt that the old ghost level 1 didnt really sit right around the curves of the shoulder, knee or elbow. This new diablo does, it is shaped so sits so much better and as such I find it is less noticeable. I also felt with the old level 1 will that really protect me?, but with this new Diablo L2 I do feel I have Level 2 protection. It is also so much thinner and more comfortable than the standard D30 L2, or the non-specific yellow foam protectors Ive had in other shorts and jackets. Its so much better than I hoped it might be. Its everything that Chap in the Cap said it would be. As finances allow, over time, I will replace all my armour with this new one. Thanks D30 and Motolegends.
