Halvarssons Laggan pants in black Product Information
The Laggan pant is the designated lower half to go with the Gruven jacket. Like the jacket, it has a 2-layer construction, meaning that it will not wet out in even the harshest and most prolonged of downpours. But the secret ingredient is the stretch material that is woven into the outer fabric; and it is this that makes the pant so nice to wear, both on and off the bike.
The pant is rated AA under EN 17092 and comes fitted with Halvarssons’ latest, super-flexible Level 2 armour in the knees and hips.
As with the jacket, the trousers come with a fixed Outlast lining for temperature regulation. For hot weather, the pants have zippable vents on the thighs.
There are adjusters at the waist. And zips and cinching flaps at the bottom of the legs. To connect to any Halvarssons’ jacket there’s a full-length zip. You also get braces for when you are not zipped together. The trousers come in three different lengths.

Stuart E: Great product
These are really well made, comfortable to wear with sufficient stretch . They are great in all weathers, then getting them at a notably reduced price made them a superb buy
Graham: Just the job
Got these to replace a pair of halvarssons prince trousers that must be around 12 years old still fine, just a little snug now. These dont disappoint, just as comfy if not more so than my old faithfuls and with thermals underneath were perfectly warm even at 6 degrees over a day out. Top value in the sale from Motolegends again.
Edward: Very happy
36S is just the right length for my 30 inside leg. Very comfortable. I noticed the benefit of the non-slip patch on the seat. Sunday sale made the price even better. Usual great service from Motolegends!
Stuart: Lightweight comfy
Great bit of kit, will use on rainy days in the Summer especially. Not yet tested in the rain but have no reason to doubt its capabilities.
Matthew Wood: Faultless
My first foray into Halvarssons. My go-to dry weather trousers are now Rokker Rokkertech jeans. Im on my second pair and they are wonderful. I have quite found the same balance for waterproof gear. For commuting in all weather, Rukka has been outstanding. Now for occasional long distance road trips, Ive tried something lighter and with stretch. The jacket and trousers were great for a long weekend to Wales, in a downpour on the way back. Uber comfortable, with no restriction of movement, very comfortable waist band, great 36l for me with Velcro synching to stop them flapping in the wind. About half the weight of Rukka gear. I was warm enough but I reckon sub 7 degrees, these might need a down liner. No unwanted breeze or cold spots. Performed better than the jacket.
Road Smart Biker: So comfortable
Theres a number of things that you expect from motorcycle trousers protection, waterproofing, wind proofing and the Langan provides all of that but what they add is comfort. Being made from a stretch material makes such a difference. The only negative is that the flaps on the pocket face upwards so you need to make sure that you have closed the zips or the pockets fill with water which is a really poor bit of design.
