Ive been thinking of trying a merino base layer having read all the blurb from ML on numerous times but wasnt ready to risk over a oner on one,so when this came on sale at about £50, i thought id try one, its XL maybe i would of been better with large, im a short guy and sleeves are pretty long, handy thumb holes in sleeves for when you put your jacket on and keeping your sleeves by your wrists, been out in 9degrees wearing nothing else but a laminated Klim jacket and it worked well, i didnt feel the chill, arms are a usual issue but they were warm enough too, also used on golf course in colder weather and again it did the job but too hot in the club house !!!overall i would say buy one just get one thats the correct thickness for job in hand , as a salesman for 40 years i love the features and benefits that ML provide to help make a decision, just wish the shop was closer,how about a midlands northern shop guys ????
