Icebreaker mens merino 200 Oasis long sleeve crew base layer in black

Tony: Icebreaker top

Very happy - worn on my very recent trip to Norway and it felt very comfortable and helped keep me at just the right temperature on the whole - bit of perspiration when I had a rucksack on my back whilst walking up to see a glacier

Icebreaker mens merino 560 Realfleece Elemental II long sleeve zip jacket

Andrew D-based: Really like it - on and off the bike

The Icebreaker 560 Merino jacket is a great piece of kit - very warm and less bulky than my Klim Maverick under my Stadler jacket. Wore it yesterday at 7C with a long-sleeve synthetic underneath and a Klim Windshirt also great! over - was just fine and the combination really isnt bulky. It is easier than putting two half-zip Icebreaker tops on as well. Also use it off the bike - just right in a cold football stadium for instance. Combines well with either the Klim Maverick or the Windshirt for casual wear. Will buy a spare at some stage, as prefect gear always gets messed around with or just disappears sooner or later!

Icebreaker mens merino 260 Tech long sleeve half zip base layer in black

Rob Lindsay: Top quality Merino base layer

I have numerous base layers, mostly from EDZ. The Icebreaker however is in a class of its own. The weight is similar 260 to other I own, but seems to be a denser weave probably the wrong terminology!. Not only is it effective at keeping me warm, but it is a step up in comfort. The design of the lowish neck, and the slightly longer half zip are both improvements. These are expensive garments, but excellent quality.
