Product Information

The Furygan Genesis Mistral Evo is a back-to-basics, traditional, mesh jacket, albeit one that looks much better than a mesh jacket has a right to look. It's made from a high-tenacity polyester for abrasion resistance, and comes with D30 armour in the shoulders and elbows for impact protection. The jacket has a pocket for a back protector. There's a huge mesh panel across the chest, mesh panels up both sleeves, and two large panels on the back. The jacket does not come with a thermal liner, but there are volume adjusters on the sleeves, so that you can wear a thicker base layer when it's cold. There are also adjusters on the waist, and belt loops that allow the jacket to be attached to a pair of belted trousers. If you want to stay cool on the warmest of days, the Genesis Mistral Evo will do the job, and at a price that represents outstanding value for money.

Peter Pribisevic: Mr

A really cool jacket in both senses of the word. I am a motorcycle instructor and I'm obliged to wear an armoured jacket at work. I wish I had bought this jacket years ago. One slight moan... it has no hook at the back with which to hang it up ! Strange really as the attention to detail elsewhere on the jacket is good.

Martin Blower: Great Jacket for hot weather riding

I've used the jacket a couple of times in the recent hot spell of late summer weather and I've been impressed by it. I am a standard UK 40 regular and the Large size of jacket fitted me exactly (not much room for more than a T shirt or base layer underneath though). It's stylish, well made and the fit is good, including the length of arms. Riding in the hot weather, you get a really good throughput of cool air. Obviously, there's little wet weather protection and if it gets chilly you are going to get cold. It comes with elbow and shoulder protection. I really think it should include a back protector as there is a pocket for one (the reason that it doesn't is why it doesn't get a 5 score from me). I use the back protector from my RST Blade jacket as it fits nicely. Overall, I'm really pleased with the jacket & think its' good value. Service from Motolegends was quick and hitch free- it arrived safe and sound the next day by courier.
