Motorcycle Waterproofs

Getting soaked on a motorcycle is not just uncomfortable. Once water gets through your riding gear, you can quickly become cold, and that can affect concentration. Dedicated motorcycle waterproofs provide an extra barrier against persistent rain, whether that means a one-piece oversuit or separate waterproof jacket and trousers. 
 
Look for rain gear that packs down small enough to carry on the bike, but is roomy enough to pull over your normal riding kit when the weather turns. Sealed seams, storm flaps and secure closures around the neck, wrists and ankles all help prevent water getting in. Bright colours or reflective detailing can also improve visibility in poor conditions. 
 
Even if your regular motorcycle clothing has a waterproof membrane, carrying an additional rain layer can make a huge difference on a long, wet ride.

Having tried several different manufacturers waterproof pants over many years, these tick all the boxes, lightweight, comfortable and keep you dry. The high waist band and stirrup fit are perfect in keeping the water out even in a short boot and short textile jacket. Plus they roll up into a nice bag taking up minimal space.
