The Shark Evo-One Helmet

The Shark Evo One is the helmet that was brought in to replace the long standing Evoline 3. In just about every respect, the new helmet is a marginal improvement. It is smaller, lighter, better vented, has much better seals on the visor, improved visibility and so on. Its party trick is that you can now lift the chinbar from the back of the helmet to the front of the helmet without the need to raise the outer visor first. On the Evoline 3 you couldn’t do this. The Evo One is, in some ways, the ultimate modular helmet. It can legally be worn in both the open and closed positions, and it's simple to use. The French Police are big fans. The new helmet costs a little more than the previous model, but the new version comes with a Pinlock visor, so the difference On a like-for-like basis is marginal.
