Spidi Moto Joggers in military green Product Information

For a CE rated motorcycle pant the Spidi Moto Joggers are incredibly lightweight, although they're probably not Lulu Lemon light. And that's understandable. You go to Lulu Lemon if you want to look as though you know what you're doing in a Pilates class. You buy the Moto Jogger to look as though you know what you're doing on a motorbike.

They come with a two and a half inch deep elasticated waistband. To tighten them fast you get a drawstring. There are no buttons, there's no zip. There's no fly. You do get belt loops, but I cannot see many people wearing them with a belt.

You get two zip pockets on the sides and a wallet pocket on the back with a flap and a popper.

Shape-wise; they are pretty relaxed, but that will depend a bit on your legs.

Now in a world gone mad where many people think that they need to equip themselves with something accredited to the AAA level before they're prepared to take the bike down to their MOT test station, some will be disappointed that the Moto Joggers are single-A rated.

Of course, what many people forget is that Rukka's most popular outfit, and the suit that would be worn by every Police rider if their budget stretched to it, is the £2,600 A-rated Nivala. And so all we can say is that for the rider the Moto Jogger is aimed at, and for the kind of riding it's designed for, the pant's abrasion rating is more than up to the job.

The pant is single-A rated because in Italy Spidi wanted to bring it in at a particularly competitive price point. And when you produce a pant to the single-A level, you don't have to supply it with hip armour. Now, in truth, we would always recommend hip armour; in some ways we think it's more important than knee armour. And so if you did add Spidi's hip armour, you'd be in for an extra £19.99. And frankly, if you're going to get a pair of Moto Joggers that's what you should do.

It perhaps goes without saying that the Moto Joggers come with knee armour. All the armour we're talking about here would be Level 1. And it would be Spidi's own armour because nobody else's will fit!

Clearly the Moto Jogger is not going to be for everybody. Older folk might not like them, although I'm older than lots of folk and I do! I suspect, however, that they may appeal more to Generation Z motorcyclists.

They are the simplest of simple throw-on motorcycling trousers.

They are not the most abrasion-resistant pants one can buy, but why on earth would one expect them to be? The A-rating is more about the urban environment than the motorway. And so are these pants.

If you want a cool-looking pant that's easy to throw on, something that's up to the job when it comes to protection and something that is more comfortable to wear than a motorcycle trouser has a right to be, you should take a look at the Moto Joggers.

They come in one leg length, and it is quite short. But, I think Spidi imagine you wear these just meeting the top of an ankle boot. But, the over six footers should not apply.
